CUP READING: How to Prepare a Cup

   How to prepare your cup for reading.

   Please read carefully the instructions for preparing coffee grounds in your cup and saucer for cup reading.

    Pay attention to how to drink your coffee before reading 

     Take the highest possible resolution pictures from different angles. This will allow you to interpret more accurately the symbols in the cup.

     1. For cup reading, it is advisable to use a CUP, not a MUG.

     2. Put a spoonful of ground coffee (preferably finer grind).

     3. Pour boiling water over and let it brew for 4-5 minutes. During this time, think about on what topic you would like to tell fortunes (money, health, love, etc).

     4. Drink coffee, drinking ONLY from one side of the cup. When you finish drinking, leave some coffee in the cup.

     5. Cover the cup with a saucer.

     6. Take the cup and saucer with both hands, thumbs on top.

     7. Make 3 strong movements in a clockwise direction to stir the grounds inside the cup.

     8. Turn the cup sharply TOWARDS YOURSELF.

     9. Let the cup stand for 1-2 minutes.

     10. Raise the cup, letting the coffee grounds fall out onto the saucer.

     11. Tilt the saucer vertically, allowing the coffee to drain.

     12. Turn the saucer over so that the liquid flows down to the OTHER side of the saucer. Wait to see how low the drop/drops of coffee stop on the backside of the saucer.

     13. Take the highest quality photo of the grounds:

           a) in the cup, with a TOP view:

           b) in the cup, with different angles = 4 photos (from each angle):

           c) on the saucer, with a TOP view:

           d) on the BACKSIDE of the saucer:
